For principals and coordinators
The affiliation bye-laws were amended in January 2026, covering Classes 9 to 12. Most schools are still working out how to meet it. We run structured career sessions in Jaipur schools, at no cost to the school.
What changed
The requirement came out of a public interest litigation in the Rajasthan High Court on academic stress and the absence of structured career guidance.
A career counsellor for every 500 students across Classes 9 to 12.
A graduate or postgraduate degree in Humanities, Science, Social Sciences, Management, Education or Technology.
Larger schools may mentor nearby schools, so resources can be shared rather than duplicated.
We are not a substitute for reading the circular. If you are assessing how your school meets the requirement, confirm the position directly with the CBSE Regional Office, Ajmer — and we are happy to share what we have understood from it.
The session
Terms, stated plainly
We do not charge the school and we do not charge your students or their parents. We are paid by colleges when a student we have counselled later chooses to enrol with them — and that conversation happens with the family, after board results, away from your campus.
No commercial activity on school premises, no fees collected on site, and nothing shared with any institution without written parental consent.
Your students get guidance. Your school gets a record of it. Nothing is sold in your building.
Practicalities
Forty-five minutes with a class or a year group, between July and November. We work around your calendar, not the other way round.
Any hall or classroom. We bring the forms and materials.
Parents told in advance, and invited. Parental consent on the assessment form is signed, not assumed.
Questions schools ask
That is a question for CBSE, not for us, and we will not tell you it does. The circular reads as an instruction to appoint. What we can offer is structured, documented career guidance for your students while you work out your own compliance position.
No. Not on your premises, not afterwards, not at any stage. If anyone representing us asks a parent for money, tell us and we will end it.
Assessment forms are held by our counselling team with signed parental consent. Nothing goes to any college unless the family asks us to apply. Any parent can ask us to delete their child's record and we will.
